*Rooftop Run*

Amy: Hmm…  I wonder where he is…

*The pink hedgehog then looks over at a clock tower.  11:55 AM*

Amy: Ohh, he better not have stood me up.  *She said starting to get up.*  What am I saying?  This is Sonic we're talking about.  He always keeps his promises.  *She tries to convince herself, but eventually looks at the clock tower again.  11:59*

*DING-DONG-DONG-DING!  DONG-DING-DING-DONG!  The clock struck 12:00 PM and Amy had finally lost her patience and was going to express her full female fury.  And then all of that rage was suddenly replaced by blush as a bouquet of flowers appeared right in her face.*

Sonic: Sorry to keep you waiting.  I hope you like violets.  *He smiled as he held the blue flowers in a pink wrap.*

*Amy looks beyond the flowers and to the blue hedgehog in front of her.  Still blushing, she crosses her arms and looks away.*

Amy: You certainly know how to keep a girl waiting.  *She said pouting.*  But I forgive you.  *She takes the bouquet.*  After all, it seems you have good taste in flowers.  A bouquet of roses would have seemed cliché.  That, and there's the obvious pun…  However, a bouquet of blue flowers—my favorite color—wrapped in pink.  Are you sending a hidden message?  *She smirks.*

Sonic: Heh, could be.

Amy: Well, enough talk.  It's time for our date.  *She then takes Sonic by the hand and guides him through the city.*

Sonic: Where are we going?

Amy: I want to take you to this diner first.  I'm sure you'll love their menu.  *She smiles.*

*Sometime later in the diner, Sonic is feasting on a jumbo-sized chilidog.  Amy then awaits Sonic's response.*

Sonic: Whoa!  You weren't kidding!  This is awesome!

Amy: Right?  And I got the recipe from the cook.  So I can make chilidogs like these whenever you want.

Sonic: I look forward to it.    *He gives her the 'thumbs up'.*

*Delight fills Amy's face as she receives Sonic's approval.  Amy then begins to daydream about the future.  An older Sonic is sitting at the dinner table and eating multiple chilidogs that the older apron-wearing Amy has prepared for him.  As Amy enjoys this fantasy in her head she blushes adoringly.  She is blissful of Sonic's staring as he continues to eat.*

Sonic: ?

*Later at the entrance of a theater…*

Amy: Two tickets, please.

*Inside the theater, Sonic and Amy are watching a movie featuring two men in blue overalls.  One man wears a red cap and shirt while the other wears green.  The two men battle a huge, bulky, orange-skinned, green-shelled turtle.  Along with his spiked-shell the giant turtle breathes fire at the two men as if he is a dragon.  While Sonic pays attention to the action between of the battle of the mustached men and the dragon-like turtle, Amy is paying more attention to the romance between the man with the red cap and a blonde woman in a pink dress.  As the movie continues to play Amy has an adoring look on her face again.*

Sonic: (Is she imagining the hero and the girl as herself and I?  As if I need to ask…)

*Later that night, Sonic is carrying Amy as he runs.*

Amy: Where are we going now, Sonic?  *She blushed as she notices that she is being carried bridal style.*

*Amy is surprised to be taken to a carnival.*

Amy: This place looks amazing!  And it's not Twinkle Park.

Sonic: What's wrong with Twinkle Park?

Amy: Let's just say I don't have fond memories of that theme park…  *Amy remembers protecting a small blue bird as she is being chased by ZERO.*

*Time passes and Sonic and Amy are enjoying multiple activities, which include exploring a fun house, playing prize games, eating cotton candy, and riding roller coasters.  Both the blue and pink hedgehogs seem to be enjoying themselves.  And eventually, the hedgehogs are sitting on top off a hill, looking down at the carnival.*

Amy: Aww…  I wish this moment would last.  I wish I could be with you like this all the time.  *She cuddles with Sonic.*

Sonic: We're still young.  We have the rest of our lives to enjoy moments like this.

Amy: Sonic?  Are you saying there's a chance that we could be something more than friends?

Sonic: Uh, maybe…

*Amy's sudden hug makes Sonic a little nervous.  Looking away, he puts his arm around her shoulder pulling her close as she slightly blushes.  And the two hedgehogs enjoy the fireworks display coming from the carnival…*
