This is an interpretation of how Red and Blue would look years later when they're married. By the time of their appearances here, Violet is already a Pokemon Trainer and having her own adventures.

Red is one of the Kanto League Champions. So yes, he travels a lot. And he wears his wedding ring as a necklace.

Blue has accomplishments of her own. She is still a trainer and she travels occasionally.
